Quintas Energy is looking for a Legal Associate in Quintas Energy’s Legal Department (Rome Office) to management of all rights and obligations arising from the contracts.

 

Description of Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensuring compliance of the solar installations with their obligations including those arising from permits, licenses, finance agreements and all project contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with all project contracts (operation & maintenance, EPC contracts, leases, security contracts); controlling Quintas Energy’s client interface systems; setting up all information and compliance dates.
  • Monitor and follow-up all legal incidents, taking the appropriate actions to close them satisfactorily with detailed reporting; liaise with the client’s legal advisors where necessary
  • Issue prompt formal notice when necessary to contractors and related parties of incidents and/or breaches in their obligations and duties.
  • Provide legal support to the technical team.
  • Ensuring the quality and completeness of all data issued to clients in accordance with Quintas Energy standards.
  • Assist your portfolio manager in all of the above.
  • Use the company IT software for all of the above and maintain all portfolio information up to date.
  • Coordinate with your colleagues; procuring strong teamwork.

 

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law required. (Ex. Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Associate. Experience in administrative law will be an asset.
  • Previous experience in the energy field – especially managing GSE inspections – will be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Languages: at least B2 in Italian and English.
  • Excellent communication skills over email and telephone.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and in a client-facing role.
  • Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment.
  • Must have analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and start adding value to the team immediately.
