Quintas Energy is about Managing Power. We have the leading professional team and asset management platform in European renewables and as a result of continued growth, a vacancy has arisen in our UK Asset Management team for a Senior Asset Manager.

As Senior Asset Manager within Quintas Energy’s Asset Management Department, you will be managing a key client account and with the aim of achieving the strategic objectives of all client assets including increasing availability and performance, optimizing capex and opex, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, contracts and industry standards. You will direct an experienced team of Associates, Managers and Site Inspectors as they run Quintas’s key processes.



In the course of your duties you are expected to do the following –

  • Manage an important client account and act as the main point of contact of the client
  • Coordinate QUINTAS ENERGY processes with the Asset Management team
  • Coordinate and update the Operational Asset Management Planning of the client portfolio
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities in the portfolio
  • Coordinate with the QE Asset Management team, and the client, the management and resolution of escalated issues, live outages as well as O&M and EPC contractual positions
  • Ensure a consistent, effective and efficient approach to high-risk issues including:
    • immediate mitigation, assessment of (root) causes, and action plans
    • supervision of the implementation or approved plans
    • analysis of impact and liabilities
    • assessment of fleetwide risk
    • identification and enforcement of contractual rights
    • escalation of issues to the appropriate levels
    • providing visibility and clear recommendations to the client and other stakeholders
  • Evaluate historical failures and defects across the portfolio with the aim of preventing re-occurrence and ensure a consistent approach across the different client-teams
  • Evaluate the case management process and ensure effective communication of lessons learned within the company
  • Promote a H&S culture within QE and ensuring the identification and escalation of H&S risks in the portfolio



The candidate should have relevant qualifications with 5+ years of professional experience in renewable energy Asset Management, especially in solar, wind and/or battery storage.  CDM experience will be required. Formal qualifications in project management and a proven track record of success in delivery of project objectives are an advantage.

This role requires the candidate to speak and write in English at a fluent business level. Further qualifications or relevant experience in management are also an advantage.

You will be a confident negotiator capable of interpreting plant and contractor performance to identify issues and resolve them effectively with EPCs and O&Ms as well as other contractors and service providers.

You will have proven commercial skills and direct experience of enforcing contracts or proposing satisfactory solutions. You will also have a demonstrable track record of satisfactorily dealing with stakeholder interests.



The vacancy has arisen in our London office though it is expected that at least half of worktime will be remote or home-based.



This position comes with an attractive salary and annual bonus package as well as enrolment in the company pension scheme. The candidate will form part of the senior team in Quintas and will be expected to contribute to policies and standards across the company.

When circumstances permit, the role entails travel between Quintas’s main offices and attendance at relevant market events including conferences and seminars.
